Urban transpor is not only the problem of how to achieve the aim of effcetive negotiability of citizens and goods, but also an important strategic problem of how to enhance the quality of human inhabitancy condition radically, as well as tie up with urban sustainable development. According to the tendecy and pattern of urban development, this paper demonstrated the development orientation and pattern of Chinese urban transport on the basis of the current situation, and offere the countermeasure form five respects that is integrative strategy, traffic planing, equilibrium of supply and demand, traffic structure optimization, policy formulation.
