摘要

The phenomenon of erasable self-pumped phase conjugation (SPPC) is explained theoretically. Encoded by intensity, all-optical XOR and NXOR logic functions are performed experimentally by controlling the incident and the erasure beams of SPPC. The time response curves of both operations are shown.

摘要

A new approach for tuning the wavelength of a fiber Bragg grating without chirping is demonstrated. Tuning is achieved by bending a triangular cantilever beam with the grating was epoxied on its surface. The isosceles triangle was firmly fixed at its base and bending was realised by exerting a force to its vertex. Chirp-free tuning of a fiber Bragg grating over a wavelength range of 4.52nm is demonstrated. Using a correction index of 0.7, the experimental results are in good agreement with thetheoretical values.

摘要

Abstract-A novel fiber Bragg grating (FBG) wavelength demodulation scheme based on a compound interference configuration is introduced. This scheme measures the strain-induced wavelength-shift of the FBG in terms of phase-shift signal. The sensing resolution and sensitivity were demonstrated to be 6.2 n and 1.59, respectively, which match the theoretical value of 1.61 very well.

摘要

介绍一种基于干涉解调技术的光纤光栅传感系统,用非平衡波长扫描迈克耳孙干涉仪将来自传感光栅的包含应变信息的波长信号变为相位信号。借助相位计显示的相位变化确定待测应变的大小。该传感系统具备分辨5.5的能力,其灵敏度的实验值为1.80°,与预期值1.83°基本吻合。

摘要

Heat treatment with the presence of hydrogen (H2) that react with GeE' centers (Ge) at high tern perature will weaken the refractive index modulation of grating fabricated in hydrogen loaded normal germanosilicate fiber. Pre. annealing treatment of the above fiber was demonstrated to be able to enhance the grating's thermal stability effectively.0.37-nm blue-shift of the reflected Bragg wavelength was ob-served.
