摘要

Chemical contaminants emitted by dried building material influence the indoor air quality in the long term. Re-circulated ventilation is widely used in the actual ventilation systems and it is one of the important factors affecting the indoor contaminant concentration distribution. The objectives of this paper are to simulate the indoor total volatile organic compounds (TVOCs) distribution emitted from a new floor and the total TVOCs quantity inhaled by an occupant with the different fresh air ratios under a re-circulated ventilation system. Furthermore, contribution ratio of pollution source (CRP) index is utilized to calculate the TVOCs contribution ratio to the inhaled contaminant generated from different locations. Finally, the mean TVOCs emission rate and the residual TVOCs percentage within the building material, average concentration and average ventilation effectiveness at the different locations of the room with respect to time are also investigated. The simulation result and analysis are helpful for designing the indoor healthy occupant environment and improving some features of the re-circulated ventilation system.

摘要

This paper discusses thermal comfort inside residences of three cities in the hot-humid climate of central southern China. Only a few thermal comfort studies have been performed in hot-humid climates and none in Central Southern China. Field sampling took place in the summers of 2003 and 2004 by obtaining 110 responses to a survey questionnaire and measuring environmental comfort variables in three rooms in each of 26 residences. The objectives are to measure and characterize occupant thermal perceptions in residences, compare observed and predicted percent of dissatisfied and discern differences between this study and similar studies performed in different climate zones. Average clothing insulation for seated subjects was 0.54 clo with 0.15 clo of chairs. Only 48.2% of the measured variables are within the ASHRAE Standard 55-1992 summer comfort zone, but approximately 87.3% of the occupants perceived their thermal conditions acceptable, for subjects adapt to prevailing conditions. The operative temperature denoting the thermal environment accepted by 90% of occupants is 22.0–25.91. In the ASHRAE seven-point sensation scale, thermal neutral temperature occurs at 28.61. Preferred temperature, mean temperature requested by respondents, is 22.81. Results of this study can be used to design low energy consumption systems for occupant thermal comfort in central southern China.

摘要

使用计算流体力学(CFD)技术,结合动网格技术和刚体运动学理论,对室内人体移动进行了动态模拟,得到了人体移动过程中不同时刻室内流场分布.分析了移动过程中的平均温度、平均速度、温度和速度不均匀性指标,并预测了有效吹风温度(TEDT)、空气分布特性指标(ADPI)和吹风感的不满意率指标(PD),比较了不同人体移动速度对以上指标的影响.模拟结果表明,人体移动对室内气流分布和热舒适有短期影响,能提高室内风速的扰动,造成吹风感.

摘要

Conduction transfer functions (CTFs) are widely used to calculate conduction heat transfer in building cooling load and energy calculations. They can conveniently fit into any load and energy calculation techniques to perform conduction calculations. There are three methods: the Laplace transform (LP) method, the state-space (SS) method and the frequency-domain regression (FDR) method to calculate CTF coefficients. The limitation of methodology possibly results in imprecise or false CTF coefficients. This paper investigates the accuracy of the three methods applied to the material properties of a single-layer and a multilayer heavyweight building construction.

摘要

The Hunan International Exhibition Center (HIEC) is a large space building. A stratified air-conditioning system on the second floor of the building has been adopted. Due to some problems with the air supply jet diffuser, CFD simulations were carried out to predict air distribution. Meanwhile, field measurement results were used to validate the CFD simulation results. A good agreement of simulated and test results was obtained. Based on simulation results, some analyses and suggestions are put forward to improve air distribution.
